- I am a freelance animator with many years experience working happily as part of a team producing engaging animation for adverts and short films. I have proven, reliable skills for working under pressure and to deadlines, taking direction and giving creative input to projects. I also have some experience directing animation, editing and sound editing, using Maya, Softimage, After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere.

- Details: Due to family events I felt it would be a good time for a total change and to refresh and refocus. I moved to the beautiful French Alps to indulge my passion for snowboarding, take some French lessons and give my two Alaskan sled dogs a taste of the good life.

- Service: Full time CG character animator. Working on a range of animated commercials and in-house projects for clients such as Orange, Pot Noodle, Toilet Duck, Jus Rol, Green Giant, Greenpeace. I worked as part of team, producing (and sometimes directing) CG character animation and 2D animation to short deadlines, taking direction, setting up of the initial pipeline for a project, editing, sound editing and sound creation, mentoring work experience students and assisting with pitches. Using software including Softimage, After Effects, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro and Premiere.

- Details: I received First class honours in BA Animation. Focusing on 2D hand drawn animation, my student film "The Love Train" was winner of best student film at the Smogdance animation festival 2006 and screened at many film and animation festivals around the world
Special Delivery

Special Delivery is a Google Spotlight Story short film, where 360°storytelling is made uniquely for mobile devices and lets the viewer follow the action of the story or look around to see extra secret "easter eggs". For the best viewing watch on an Android phone. I loved working on this project, the design is so beautiful and it was christmas every day!

Ariel
I created these images for Studio Davis to assist with two pitches for Ariel powder and liquid pods, with the aim being to turn them into short animated adverts, but sadly the projects did not go ahead

This was an inhouse project I was kindly allowed to work on while at A Large Evil Corporation which I sadly never finished. Thanks for all the help people gave me on this. I was resposible for the concept, animation and music. (I learnt to play the ukelele especially)

Tassimo
This was a CG animated web project I worked on as director and animator while at A Large Evil Corporation for Tassimo. I created animatics to final animation using the existing storyboard, adding interesting transitions and giving the movement the stopmotion feel that was required.

The Love Train
The Love Train was my final film project at Southampton Solent University, I made a million mistakes but it was so much fun to make. It has been screened in over 30 festivals around the world. Winner of “Best Student Animated Short” – Smogdance Film Festival January 2006 - Pomona CA USA, and featured in Fresh from the Festivals and Reviewed on Animation World Network.
